Cancelled due to security reasons and the ongoing war in the Middle East

Polyphony’s Galilee Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Saleem Abboud Ashkar, will embark on August 2024 a second European tour, performing three full concerts at major festivals:

– Grachtenfestival at Amsterdam’s Royal Concertgebouw – August 9th
– Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival at Neubrandenburg’s Konzertkirche – August 11th
– Young Euro Classic Music Festival at Berlin’s Konzerthaus – August 12th

The GCO will perform a world premiere of the Arab-Israeli composer Nizar Elkhater’s Nocturnal Whispers, Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 3 in A Minor (Scottish) and Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in D Major, featuring acclaimed virtuoso violinist Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider.
